  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures for the organization’s cloud environment and related systems.
  • Monitor and manage security configurations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Configure and oversee conditional access policies to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
  • Manage Azure Identity Protection tools to detect and mitigate identity-based risks.
  • Create and enforce policies for cloud-based computers (Intune) to ensure secure access and usage.
  • Develop and manage mobile device security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to organizational data.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the organization’s cloud environment, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to maintain a secure and compliant digital infrastructure.
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans by ensuring effective data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.
  • Configure and manage Active Directory (AD) Group Policies to enforce network security and access controls.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and recommend updates to existing policies and tools as needed.
  • Train staff on cybersecurity best practices, including recognizing phishing attempts, secure password usage, and data handling procedures.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor the antivirus software to ensure endpoints are protected and compliant.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, with 3-5 years of related experience. Combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
  • Proven experience in information security, particularly in cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Intune, Azure Identity Protection, conditional access policies, and mobile device management (MDM).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or equivalent standards).
  • Experience conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in implementing disaster recovery and data protection strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are an asset.
