The TB Nurse will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of TB programs in Nain with the goal of preventing, identifying, treating and controlling the spread of TB. The individual will work with community health nursing staff, NL Health Services Labrador-Grenfell zone staff, along with Provincial and Federal health teams

  • Provide nursing care for clients in the TB Program.
  • Provide administrative function for the TB Program.
  • Maintain a thorough and sound working knowledge of current primary health care and public health nursing practices, skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an approved school or nursing, preferable Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of NL.
  • Valid Class 5 NL Driver’s license.
Assets
  • Bilingual in Inuktitut and English.
  • Experience in TB program management.
  • Proficiency in administering and reading TB Skin Tests.
