Under the supervision of the Day Care Operator, the Child Care Worker Summer Student is responsible for the assisting the Child Care Educators in the daily running of the Daycare Centres’ early childhood child care space.

Duties Include:

• Help with the daily activities of the Daycare Centre, including caring for play areas, toys, and equipment
• Play, interact, and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities, planned programs, and meal/snack times
• Support Child Care Educators in creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment, including helping with light cleaning and keeping classrooms organized

• Youth between the ages of 15 to 30 years of age
• Social Insurance Number
• Experience working with young children.
• Code of Conduct
