The Conservation Officer Student will be responsible for assisting with the collection of biological data for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) Salmon Sampling Program as well as assisting the Conservation Officer with regular patrol duties.

Duties Include:
  • Taking salmon and arctic char samples
  • Prepare the samples for shipping to DFO
  • Filing and typing
Qualifications
  • Youth between the ages of 15 to 30 years of age
  • Social Insurance Number

Location:Nunatsiavut (Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet)/Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL

Term: Summer Student
