• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in childcare play areas, activity rooms, hallways, and common spaces
• Dust, clean, and disinfect all surfaces and high-touch areas, including tables, countertops, shelving, cubbies, windowsills, toys, and play equipment
• Empty garbage and recycling and maintain a tidy environment
• Clean and sanitize play areas, activity spaces, rest/sleep areas, washrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and janitorial products
• Follow all safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning products
• Support enhanced cleaning during illness outbreaks and high-use periods
• Participate in training as required
• Other related duties as required

• High school diploma
• 1 year of experience
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in a childcare setting

• Bilingual in Inuktitut and English

• 4% vacation pay
