Responsibilities
View English and Inuktitut version
- Adhere to the Nunatsiavut Government Employee Civil Service Policy Manual along with NIHB specific policies
- Transport Beneficiaries as required
- Provide physical assistance to Beneficiaries in loading and offloading of medical transportation vehicle(s)
- Assist in moving medical supplies and equipment as required
- Keep daily log
- Cleaning of vehicle fleet in accordance with infection, prevention and control principles
- Report occurrences (e.g. vehicle accident, vehicle maintenance issues, etc.) to Lead/Dispatch immediately
- Attendance at quarterly NIHB Ground Transport team meetings
- Training and in servicing as required
- To liaise with stakeholders while maintaining Beneficiary confidentiality
- Other related duties as assigned by the Lead/Dispatch
Qualifications
- Must have class-4 driver’s license and provide a clean driver abstract
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be able to work flexible hours and shift work
Assets
- Bilingual in the Inuktitut and English language
- First Aid/CPR Certification
