Responsibilities

View English and Inuktitut version

  • Responsible for safekeeping, nutrition and health of the toddlers & infants.
  • Lead and facilitate daily Inuttitut Immersion teaching for Infants and families.
  • Prepare, Supervise and participate in activities which enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of toddlers and infants in the Language Nest.
  • Provide a positive, fun and enthusiastic environment for toddler, infants and parents. 
  • Training as required.
Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or Certificate, Preschool Orientation Course and one-year experience working with pre-school children, or minimum of 1 year experience in child care setting.
  • Experience in teaching Inuttitut. 
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the RCMP. 
  • First Aid Certificate
Assets

Bilingual in Inuktitut and English.
